Bird of Prey Experience

Get ready for an exhilarating experience with our Bird of Prey Experience. You'll get to see a variety of species up close, and learn about their incredible capabilities and behaviors. 

The day starts with a 30-minute talk on our weathering lawn, followed by a 30-minute owl/aviary talk. Then, the real excitement begins, with 30 minutes of handling birds and an hour-long flying demonstration where you can participate and witness these amazing creatures in flight.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome at our Bird of Prey Experience days. We only permit one spectator per participant and all spectators are pay on the day, we do not accept pre-payment for this.

Spectators are able to join in with our weathering and aviary talks and watch their accompanying participant take part in handling and a flying demonstration.

Owl Evenings

Our arena will be gently lit as you witness the stunning silence of these birds of prey. You'll even have the chance to have one of these magnificent creatures fly down to your glove. Our 30-minute owl talk, where you'll learn more about these creatures, is an experience not to be missed. Then enjoy watching our smaller owls fly at dusk and 20 minutes of marshmallow toasting before ending the evening watching our larger owls soar.

This is a 2 hour experience, only available to book between Oct-Mar.

Private Experience Days 

Looking for an unforgettable  once-in-a-lifetime experience? Our Private Day offers a 5-hour exclusive tour for 2 people to see behind the scenes of our centre. 

You'll have the opportunity to handle a selection of birds, participate in a 2-hour flying session, and request certain birds within reason and availability. A homemade lunch is provided during the day.
